Starting Saturday 11th June 2022.

'A priceless gift’ is an 8-week extensive Islamic Studies workshop specially designed for teenagers that will transform their life by exploring the many facets of our beautiful deen, Islam.

“I enjoyed everything about the Priceless Gift workshop, especially learning about the vast mercy of Allah, the deeper meaning of shahadah and how it relates to my life.”

We often consider education as the prerequisite to success. More education brings more money and more power and as a result, more success. But what is the true meaning of success for a Muslim?

Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an 7:8:

“So those whose scales are heavy - it is they who will be the successful.”

These are the ‘Muflihoon’ or the ultimately successful ones.
But how can we achieve this status and become one amongst them?

Allah has given us uncountable gifts, and one of those gifts is Islam, which is priceless. It is priceless because it is the key to every treasure we seek, the solution for every problem we face and the guide that can help us reach Paradise.

Living upon the principles of Islam should be the most natural thing for us, but this life is a test, and Shaytaan has thrown his traps at every step for us to stumble and fall.

Don’t you feel…

that the distractions of our increasingly advancing and highly technological world make it even more difficult to stay connected with the roots of Islam?

Modern education wants you to believe that science is everything. The intellectuals want you to believe that the laws of Islam are not applicable anymore.

That the idea of a supreme being is merely our weakness and that religion is a thing of the past. But those whose hearts are enlightened by the knowledge of Allah ﷻ know that Islam is the only perfect way of life.

Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an (Al-Ma’idah, verse 3)

“Today I have perfected your faith for you, completed
My favour upon you, and chosen Islam as your way.”

Placeholder Image

This verse is enough for us to hold tight onto our faith and believe in the perfection of our religion.

“But I’m a good human being, and that should be enough.”
“Islam seems very strict in today’s world. It’s difficult to relate to.”
“I’m the only Muslim in my class, and I feel left out.”

Have you heard statements like these? Perhaps, a part of you feels this way too, and you’re still trying to find a balance between your identity as a Muslim and as a modern world student?

You probably won’t believe it, but we’ve all been in your shoes, and the struggles of a teenager’s life run fresh in all our memories. There’s no denying that teenage years are chaotic. There’s always a rush to get things done. The school assignments, the expectations to ace the tests and exams, the intimidating but exciting prospect of a bright future that is based solely on your sweat and hard work.

All of these and more, coupled with varying emotions, constantly nagging self-doubt and a lot of vague questions make these productive years somewhat of an agony.

Imagine if, among all these cluttered and jumbled paths, you found a way that leads you straight to success?

Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) said:

“Verily, we were a disgraceful people and Allah honored us with Islam. If we seek honour from anything besides that with which Allah honoured us, Allah will disgrace us.”

The secret lies in Islam. It gives us the perfect mix to bring about a balance between the deen and dunya. Islam was what defined our beloved Messenger (PBUH) and his Companions. It was Islam that gave honour to the followers of prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and made them a power in the Arab lands. We, as Muslims, lost our honour when we lost recognition for this precious gift.

It is time we picked it up again, polished it and realised its powerful impact.

Reconnecting with the roots of Islam and inculcating its teachings into your daily life is, in reality, the only effective strategy you need to succeed.

How could Islam be anything other than perfect
when it is chosen for us by Allah?

It is therefore essential that we learn about this beautiful deen. If we want to fully benefit from this gift, we need to know every tiny detail, every dimension, every law associated with it so that we can implement it into our lives and reap the benefits of its application.

Allah ﷻ says in the Qur’an 39:9:

“Can those who know and those who do not know become equal?”

Feeling powerless when burdened with multiple responsibilities and tasks is something we are all familiar with. It is easy to feel overwhelmed and lose a sense of direction when there are so many expectations attached to you.

Religion often bears the brunt of our busy schedule, and the time that is meant for Allah is spent chasing after grades and credentials. To-do lists get bigger each day, and time for worship slowly gets shorter until it becomes a struggle to even perform the daily prayers.

If this resonates with you, it is absolutely critical that you take a pause and redefine the focus of your life.

Why were you created?

What is your purpose in this world?

Was it just a coincidence that you were born a Muslim?

That Allah chose you to be one among those who had the fortune of saying ‘La ilaha illallah’ (There is no God but Allah)?

That you received this gift of Islam which was perfected and sent down for you?

You need to reconnect with your purpose and that’s only possible when you take a deep dive into the fundamentals of Islam.

Islamic studies is a comprehensive and elaborate analysis of the foundation of Islam.

Through the study of the various fields of Islam, you will gain a consciousness in your worship that will not only revive your faith, but also instill a sense of renewed appreciation for our deen.

Every journey begins with the first step, and Paradise Pearls invites you to take that first step by presenting an 8- week extensive Islamic Studies workshop,

Paradise Pearls is bringing you…

Live by the principles of Islam, and witness the mercy and blessings of Allah in your life like never before

Who is my coach?

I am Faraz Sadiq, an experienced Qur’an and Arabic coach/teacher who has a passion for passing on valuable Islamic knowledge to the youth.

I help people form a deeper and more meaningful connection with their Creator.

The hadith of the Prophet (PBUH) that propels me to impart the knowledge of Islam among others is this:

“The best among you (Muslims) are those who learn the Qur'an and teach it.”

‘Isaar’ (selflessness) is a significant part of our deen.

Enjoining good and forbidding evil is the characteristic of a believer.

Our deen also teaches us to spread khayr (good) and beneficial knowledge.

These are the principles that guide me in what I do.

Why I do it?

Because I am blessed with a precious gift. The gift of Islam and its knowledge.

And this is a responsibility like no other. It is an obligation on me to help others come back to Allah, just as Allah brought me back to Him.

When students write to me and describe how I have made an impact in their lives, it reminds me of why I embarked on this journey in the first place.

And if I could reconnect even one soul with his Creator, wouldn’t it be worth all the effort?

This is my resolution:

Reconnect myself and others with our purpose

I want to reconnect with my purpose
